Ballymena Festival

Congratulations to all our pupils who participated in this year's Ballymema Festival. We had such a great turn out, from all year groups, for the Speech and Drama section. Caitlin Diamond also took first place for her song 'Ned of the Hill' in the Singing Section. Another great year....

Peace Proms

Our school choir were so excited to take part in the annual Peace Proms in the Odyssey Arena Belfast. They were part of a choir of 3000 with members from schools throughout Ireland. The Peace Proms is run by Cross Border Orchestra Ireland....

Credit Union Quiz

Both Year 7 and Year 6 pupils were proud to represent the school at the annual Credit Union Quiz. Congratulations to both teams who not only learned alot but had great fun too!...

Dream House Competition

Congratulations to Aoife, Noah, Sarah and Maya who won the Dream House Competition by the Housing Executive. The pupils had to design their dream houses, which were out of this world! Congratulations to Sarah, who took first place and won her very own digital camera....

Environmental Youth Speak

Congratulations to our Year 7 pupils Megan and Marie, who came 1st and 2nd in the Environmental Youth Speak Competition. Megan will be representing the school in the Final on Tuesday 10th March in Lisburn. Good luck Megan from everybody at St Mary's!...

World Book Day

We really value Reading at St Mary's so to celebrate World Book Day all pupils participated in a variety of lessons, activities and competitions. Congratulations to all our Character Costume Winners, whose outfits were incredible! We raised an amazing £215 for Epilepsy Action. Book Fair Competition

Congratulations to all of our Travelling Book Fair Competition winners from Year 1 to Year 7. We loved finding out about your favourite books and where you love to read them. The amazing posters designed in Key Stage 2, to promote reading, has made us all Reading Bookworms! Enjoy spending your vouchers and using your cool pencil cases....

Big Bedtime Read

Thank you to all our Nursery, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils who took part in our Big Bedtime Read. The pupils were so excited to come to school in their pjs, with their favourite teddy bear, to try out our amazing BIG bed! Wasn't it cosy?! Fairtrade

Our Year 6 pupils Michael, Hugo, Cormac and Charlie delivered a presentation on Fairtrade to all pupils at our first assembly of the term.
