Feet First Friday

On Friday the 20th of May the whole school, from Nursery to Primary 7, took part in Feet First Friday as part of Sustrans activities to help us be active, healthy and happy. The children had so much fun visiting RosePark Farm. We got to walk through the Enchanted Fairy Garden which then led us on to the farm where we saw lots of different  farm animals and even got to go to the maternity ward! On 12th May, St. Mary's P.S. hosted the Cumann na mBunscol Camogie tournament for the first time since 2019. The whole day was organised by Claire Doherty, our school coach from Geraldine’s Camogie Club, and everything went so smoothly from start to finish. On 4th May 2022, twenty of the Primary 7 children had the opportunity to take part in a Mixed Football Blitz, hosted by St. Patrick’s Primary School, Rasharkin.
