Antrim Camogie Champions visit St. Mary's

The 27th of September brought the Antrim Camogie Champions to our school. Katie Carey, Roisin Kelly, Eimear Vallely and Catriona Graham came to answer some of our questions and sign some of our jerseys and hurling sticks. The P6 and P7 pupils greeted the visitors at the entrance and an assembly was held. The pupils also designed some posters and the girls judged them so there was one winner in every class. The winners were: Danny McKenna, Grace McCann, Cormac McGill,  Sofia Erwin, Ava Scullion, Annie Convery and Aimee Graham. It was really amazing getting to meet the team and hear about their journey to success. Maybe someday in the future some of our pupils will be back with similar stories of success!
