Catholic Schools Week 2026

This week, we have celebrated Catholic Schools Week. The theme this year has been 'Called to Holiness'. There have been lots of activities going on in classes to explore the ways that we can answer our call to holiness including creating a beautiful whole school display.

We are very proud of our vision, values and ethos where every child is valued and celebrated.

Our primary one and two children enjoyed a visit to the Church where Father Rooney explained all the different items and objects in God's house. On Wednesday Primary 7 led our Catholic Schools Week mass by doing the readings and roles and our choir enhanced the liturgy with lovely singing. The primary 7 grandparents and parents were then invited back to the school to enjoy a special assembly. Lots of special moments were shared. Our primary 3 children joined their parents in the Church on Thursday for their enrolment for the sacrament of First Penance. We have had a faith filled week. Thank you to Mrs McCutchon, our religion coordinator, for her guidance and to all of our teachers and staff for helping the children on their spiritual journey.
