Cumann na mBunscol Large School Football Blitz

On Wednesday 1st June, boys from P5,6&7 took part in the Cumann na mBunscol Large School Blitz in Ballymena, hosted by St. Brigid’s P.S. at Woodside Road. The standard of play at this competition is always high and this year was no different. Both teams played their best. Unfortunately we lost Conan McKeever early in the tournament due to injury. Despite this setback, the boys got to the final losing in the end to St Oliver Plunkett’s P.S. Congratulations to all the boys who took part, we are looking forward already to next year with some strong players coming through. Huge thanks to Martin McLaughlin who coached the boys after school this year.
