Extraordinary Mission Month

Pope Francis declared that the month of October was Mission Month. The Primary 6 pupils spoke to the pupils at Assembly about hoe we are all called to be          missionaries.

St. Therese is the patron saint of missions, even though she never went on any missions. She still became the patron saint because every day she made little acts of kindness. We learned about how we can make little acts of kindness at home, at school and in our community to show God’s love for everyone.

Our P6 class learned the Mission Prayer and created our own. We were so happy that Mrs McCutcheon put the on display in the Church. We hope that you will all try to do little acts of kindness too.
