First Outing for the Camógs

On Tuesday 22nd of October our P7 camogie team went to an indoor tournament in Dunloy’s 3G pitch. We all got split into teams and were named after a county. There was: Down, Derry, Tyrone, Antrim, Armagh, Donegal, Monaghan. It was great because we got to play with players that we have never played with before. Some people from our local camogie teams were there.

We took turns at playing ten minute matches, and if a team scored a point and it rebounded it went back into play, if you scored a goal, the goalie took the puckout. 

At the end it was a three way tie. The teams that won were:Derry, Tyrone and Armagh. The player of the tournament was a pupil from St. Patrick’s Primary School Rasharkin. Everyone  got a participation medal and the winners got a medal too. We travelled there and back on a bus with Mrs Milner.
