Gig 'n the Bann

On Friday 13th September the P4 to P7 children from our school and Portglenone Primary were invited to the Wild Duck to see a concert.  It was part of the Gig n’ the Bann festival.  We were all very excited because we got to walk down the street with our teachers and classroom assistants.  When we arrived at the Wild Duck we were shown to our seats and then told that the person we were here to see was Tom Sweeney! We were all so excited as we have seen him before in our school and he is very funny. Tom Sweeney sings lots of great songs and they all have some very funny dance moves, he even likes to make fun of teachers.  While we were there we got to eat some treats that we had brought with us.  It was a really enjoyable morning and I hope we are invited back next year.
