Netball Team Achievements

This term saw our school netball team put all their training and practice to the test by taking part in some tournaments. On 11th May they hosted a small tournament with 3 other schools: Carnaghts, Carniny and The Diamond. They won all 3 games! The teamwork was just fantastic and every single player was brilliant. 

On may 23rd the team competed in the Antrim Area Play Offs. They played 3 very good teams on a full size netball court and each of the  games was umpired by official netball umpires. The umpires were very strict, calling contact, footwork, replayed ball and offside quite a bit for each team playing. The girls played amazingly, narrowly missing out in each game by only 1 or 2 goals. This is a testament to the fantastic standard they have achieved since September. Mrs Maginess was very proud of their commitment to training and the team work on display. Well done girls!
