St. Mary's P.S. PTA
Thank you very much for supporting our PTA events and fundraising in Term 1. The PTA have made an amazing start to the year, and it is wonderful to have lots of parents involved in promoting and fundraising for the good of the pupils of our school and nursery unit.
Thank you for the food item donations that helped to make our hampers for the Nursery raffle and for the bigger PTA raffle. There was such a great response that we were able to donate lots of food items to our local St Vincent de Paul who do such great work supporting those in need within our community. We also continued our annual donation of food items to the Rotary Club in Ballymena.
Thank you to our PTA who kindly spent time preparing treat bags for all the children to enjoy during their Movie and Pantomime Days this week.
Our PTA Quiz in the Wild Duck was a fantastic success and raised an amazing amount towards the PTA fund. The PTA would once again like to thank all of the sponsors of the quiz rounds and those who donated raffle prizes. Thank you to Gordon at Precision Engineering, Jaqueline McInerney, The Village Inn, Portglenone, Anna Laverty and to Therese and Donal Murphy for their contributions; your generosity is greatly appreciated.
The Halloween Disco was enjoyed by all who attended and also raised funds for our school.

That brings our first term of our newly formed PTA to a close. We are very thankful to all the parents for your support. Our aim is not just to fundraise but also to generate a sense of togetherness in our school community and provide opportunities for parents to become involved in the life and work of our great school.
