Team Callum and guess the Elephant’S name

St Mary’s Portglenone has been raising money for Team Callum. 13 year old Callum Boyd will be transported to England for treatment for cancer in the near future. Callum is a past pupil of our school and we wanted to help him. So we had a competition called "Guess the Elephant’s name”. Everyone brought in money to guess the name of the elephant. At assembly today the name of elephant was revealed, his name was Jerry. Since no one guessed the name Jerry, a name was picked out of all the suggestions and the person who won the elephant was Niamh Mulholland in P4. Niamh renamed the elephant Ellie and all the money we raised went to Team Callum. Callum, we wish you all the best of luck from all at St Mary’s Primary School Portglenone.
